Funeral Service

I meet with you as a family and create a personalised Funeral Ceremony.  This takes into account the wishes and beliefs of your family.

The ceremony will be based around your loved one and capture the essence of who they were.  I would be happy to include a prayer or hymn if you wish.

Once prepared, I will forward a copy of the ceremony beforehand for approval and also send you a keepsake copy of the ceremony after the event.

Scattering of ashes

The interment or scattering of your loved one's ashes often takes place in the following weeks or months after the cremation service.

These services can be held in the cemetery garden of remembrance, woodland, natural burial site or a location that is special to you.  Permission may be needed in some locations.

Whilst this is a shorter ceremony, I would work with you to provide a personalised and fitting ceremony for your loved one.

Celebration of Life or Memorial Ceremony

This optional service usually takes place after the funeral and can be held in most locations.  Perhaps somewhere significant such as the family home, a special park or beach.  For larger groups a hotel or village hall may also be a suitable option.

Often this allows additional guests to attend who were unable to be present at the funeral.

I can assist with the ceremony and bring together each of the different elements you would like to include.
